From June 27 – July 2, the Swatch Beach Volleyball Major Series Series returns to the iconic city of Poreč, Croatia. For the third consecutive year, fans will have the chance to experience a unique atmosphere and exclusive VIP hospitality while watching the world’s best beach volleyball athletes compete for the biggest prize money on the FIVB World Tour.

The Swatch Major Series was established in 2015 and started with stops in Gstaad (Switzerland), Stavanger (Norway), Fort Lauderdale (USA) and Poreč. Since then, the Poreč Major, as Croatian’s first international beach volleyball event, hosts a huge crowd who have come to see the world’s best beach volleyball players in action. From year-to-year, the event has grown in strength and numbers, attracting more and more beach fans from all over the world.

For the first time in the history of Poreč Major, the athletes will compete in thrilling night games for the title. Action and entertainment of the highest level will be guaranteed for an unforgettable experience.

The Center Court, with a capacity of 4,200 people, will be erected on the stunning coast of Istria for the summer of 2017. The Beach Village, which has a state-of-the-art facilities and premium catering, surrounds Center Court and makes the event that more special. A number of side courts are located in close proximity at the Valamar Zagreb Hotel, giving visitors a selection of electrifying matches to watch throughout the day. Additional side events will also take place and together are the key ingredients of an unmissable summer experience.

The sunny beach side location not only provides the perfect venue for a world class beach volleyball tournament but also offers exclusive VIP experienced in two different areas.
