One of the most popular and most beautiful symbols of Zagreb, Zrinjevac Park is the perfect place to rest not only your body, but your soul as well.

An escape from everyday life to the park with an alley of 220 plane trees is equally magical in all seasons. But it is only during the Advent season that these large boughs light up with a special glow and the old music pavilion because a haven for lovers of Christmas classic and waltzes. When you think od Christmas, do you think of your chidhood and family gatherings around the Christmas tree, Christmas songs and the fragrance of your grandma‛s dishes? If you want to  truly relive those happy memories, the Advent on Zrinjevac is the perfect place for you. Apart from enjoying unique Christmas ornaments and handmade souvenirs from selected local artisans, you will have the opportunity to revel in the traditional - almost forgotten - Zagreb specialties as well. Yes, we are talking here about the well-known krpice sa zeljem( pasta with cabbage), a staple od Zagreb cuisine. And don‛t worry, there‛ll be planty of strudels as well. A Christmas fairy tale can commence!

Advent at Zrinjevac is open from 12:00 am to 11:00 pm on workdays, and from 10:00 am to 23:00 pm weekends.

Concert at Zrinjevac are held daily at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm; with an additional concert at 11:00 am on weedends.

There will be shows for children on the Children‛s Stage at Zrinjevac every day from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm plus anadditional show from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm weekends. The programmes for children on this stage include theatre shows, workshops and playrooms.

Zrinjevac has a lot of food and drink, from good old-fashioned food like goulash, sour cabbage, rolls, smoked leg of pig or braised cabbage with home-made pasta to sushi and srping rolls. If you have a sweet tooth, ther will be tradicional cheese pastry strukli, strudel, sweet dumplings, gingerbread and all sorts of fine hand-made pastries. Special boutiques will be selling tradicional Croatian suvenirs, perfect for you Christmas gifts.
