For the second year in a row, in cooperation with non-profit association P.I.N.K. life, the iconic Esplanade Hotel is marking the global initiative Pink Ribbon Month, a humanitarian story you can take part in. Namely, the whole month of October at the Esplanade Hotel is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer prevention and the fight against this vicious disease, which is why the chosen hue of the popular Afternoon Tea is pink. Chef of the Year 2022 Ana Grgić Tomić and award-winning pastry chef Mirjana Špoljar have joined forces and on this occasion designed several tempting snacks and pink desserts, served on a tiered stand with premium Ronnefeldt tea in a teapot. From each amount, the hotel will set aside 10%, and the money will be donated to the P.I.N.K. life association at the end of the month. Additionally, to announce the project and support for this global initiative, the façade of the Esplanade Hotel will be illuminated in pink this weekend.

The Esplanade's afternoon tea ritual offers a true gourmet treat in the centre of Zagreb. In the pink edition, you will be welcomed with snacks like salmon marinated in beetroot juice, croquettes made of kulen salami and herbs, crispy baskets filled with curd mousse, followed by sweet snacks in the form of pink macarons with dried rose petals, ruby cake cubes with raspberries, lollypops with strawberries and gold dust, hibiscus cupcakes, and rosehip and white chocolate panna cotta.
